Abstract

Heterogeneous ossification in systemic lupus erythematosus is very rare worldwide. Currently, 5 million people suffer from systemic lupus erythematosus, and 90% of them, or 4.5 million, are women. What causes this disease, how is it diagnosed, and how can similar diseases be distinguished? A social survey, content analysis, and visual diagnostic analysis of archival images were conducted. In this article, we will examine the biochemistry, pathophysiology, and etiology of systemic lupus erythematosus. This article can help us diagnose the disease earlier and reduce the risk of developing SLE.
